Dear Librarian…

Dear Librarian,

Thanks for always noticing me whenever I stop by, which is usually very often. I don’t always have a lot to do outside of school and therapy and so it’s great to come by and have someone remember me by my name. It’s also a lot of fun talking to someone else who loves reading and books just as much as I do. I could spend the entire summer reading, which is typically what I do.

I appreciate that you go out of your way to laugh at my jokes, and listen to my theories about each of my favorite authors, their books, their characters and the bad movie versions of them.

Thank you for always reserving the books that I order as well as going the extra mile to call my mom and let her know that they have arrived. It’s always so exciting going to get a book that you’ve been waiting to read.

I just wanted to let you know how much it means to me to have someone notice me. See you on Saturday.
